PA FARM SHOW

The First Show of the year was the Pennsylvania Farm Show held at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg,(25-30minutes from home) - January 13-17.

This is by far one of Bob's most hated show, (its generally bitter cold, snowy, icy and nothing ever seems to go as planned) like show morning when Maze (9) locked the keys in a running car around 8:10am and he still had to be driven home, eat breakfast and be at school before 8:30!! (keeping in mind the girls are prepping for a Milking Shorthorn show at 9:00!)

Ravyn and Lena both entered animals, so we only  had 2 heifers there! (insert applause here) ;)

Needless to say we made it on time! (but I'm sure you can see now why its not a favorite show)

WE ARE VERY PROUD OF BOTH GIRLS!!

Ravyn (RIGHT) won Youth Reserve  Jr. Champion with her Milking Shorthorn heifer "Princess" AND  Lena (LEFT) placed at the bottom of her Holstein class (which was as we expected)

When Millena was asked if it was worth it? (because she worked hard all week prepping and placed last)

she replied with a huge smile "YESS, I got out of school for a week didn't I!!??"
